Where we are in Place and Time - Week 6

UoI This was the last week of our Where we are in Place and Time unit. Students worked hard this week to complete their report writing on an aspect of Cambodia's past. Continued to work in math on addition and subtraction of numbers within the hundreds and create a piece of clay to represent something from the unit. Please have a look at the individual student pages over the next few days for some of their work from the unit. Jeslyn's Birthday On Friday afternoon we celebrated Jeslyn's 8th Birthday. Thank you for supporting your child through another great week of school. Spotlight on the Arts Thank you to everyone who came to the Grade 2 Spotlight on the Arts. It was a very successful evening with a lot of creativity shown by both students and parents. Collaboration with another school During the week we collaborated with Vientiane International School's Grade 3 students. They are currently working on the same unit as us and visited the National Museum in Vientiane last week. We worked on a Padlet together to share photos about some of the artifacts we saw at the National Museum in Phnom Penh and learnt about some of the artifacts in Vientiane.
