Monday 5th September was the first time we implemented our home eLearning. Thank you to the students and parents who shared the work done at home with me. There are two online programmes each student has an individual account for. We use these in class and they can also be used at home. Mathletics http://www.mathletics.asia/ Mathletics is a super fun math activity website. This highlight of Mathletics is being about to play against other children live anywhere in the world. I have used Mathletics at three different International Schools and have seen it motivate the most reluctant math learner. The desktop version allows students to access more features of the website including using credit to change their avatar, which students like to do. There is also a free app that can be downloaded for student use. Each student has the log in details on their home folder and can play at anytime. I am able to track progress and change the tasks to be either easier or harder. Raz Kids https://www.raz-kids.com Students who were at ISPP are already familiar with this programme. Images and emotions - Created with Haiku Deck, presentation software that inspires This week we learnt how to create a Google Doc. Today students had the opportunity to all collaborate on the same same Doc at the same time. Students worked on the iPads to add their thoughts about images they were watching on the screen in the classroom. The students enjoyed seeing the document change as they were working on it.
