Where we are in Place and Time - week 4

This week the students have each written about something they enjoyed doing. 

Noel

We learned a new website called Scratch these past few weeks were learning how to make our own game. We are all making a ping pong game it was fun, try one of our games if you're brave enough to try and you can also ask your children to make it a bit easier. Try new things with your son our daughter.

My favorite thing about this week of me making a game. Because it's very fun. We made pongs games.

We had been making scratch for 3 weeks and we have not finish it.

This week I make a video game and is called pong pong.

And I also do fun run and do epic.

We have been making a pong pong game on scratch with Mr mat.

You had to use a lot of controls to make the ball to hit the paddle

We tried different numbers to see if they work.

It was fun when the ball hit the side.

This week I liked learning about archaeology and making the pong game with Mr Matt.

We have all made pong game in scratch with Mr Matt and it was fun.

My favorite thing in this week I Liked making games because I like making video games. Also Liked fun run because I like running. I also enjoyed doing epic because i like reading and i can search for books. I also liked drawing traveling tales because I liked drawing.

In math we have been making a zoo file. We made a zoo with math.

I like the zoo files because you can choose what animals you want in your zoo and you can
choose where to put the zoo animals in the zoo.

This week we had fun Math then we usually have.

We created our own pretend Zoo!

First we bought our animals with only 1000 dollars. After we bought our animals we put them in the zoo. We put how many animals we bought, How much the animal cost, the real total of the animal and the total of all the animals!

My total was $922! After we did that we measured our animals and we colored it in color pencil on a grid. And that was our animal file!

This week we had fun Math then we usually have.

My favorite thing to do was the zookeeper and  because you have to buy animal to be in your zoo you can’t buy over $1000. After you finished your zoo flies you are done with your job.

This week  in PE we did coordinates we had to find the clues.

Mr.Ben told us numbers like: (6,8) it was fun going all around school.

On Tuesday I found two with my first partner, on the next day I found five.

On Tuesday in P.E we had a map of ISPP and a  few clues.On the clues there were 2 numbers and a thing like 27 Tree. You would have find the card in ISPP.

Last Friday there was fun run. Everyone from KG to G5 were there, we all ran at different times the KG,G1. Ran together G2,G3 ran together G4,G5 ran together .everyone ran around the school in order to get points for our hose team after the fun run they would count up our points. later after they counted all the points they announced the winner team and Mekong won.

At fun run we need to run 10 laps.

It was so hot I did only 5 or 6 laps I felt so proud of myself.

I'm so tired and hot.

Also I was so hungry.

So I ate my snacks.

This week we were making a story about a tsunami in Kamakura city with classes around the world.

It was my favorite thing in this week because we get to share it around the world with some class

The app that we use and made our story in traveling tales and it was very fun.

I was really excited to know what to do and was excited to make the story

It was very fun and I like the whole story

We only had 2 days which were Thursday and Friday.

It was such a fun activity
