Weekly update
This week we were very lucky to attend the Grade 5 PYP Exhibition. On Wednesday morning the students went to the Black Box Theatre and watched some excellent dance, songs and plays as well as looking at art work, sculpture, and a documentary. The Grade 2 students left feeling inspired and had some excellent questions about some of the issues mentioned at the Exhibition.
The Grade 10 students have been busy creating a play to show the Grade 2 students. On Friday morning we had the opportunity to view the play. The play was excellent! Afterwards the Grade 2 students provided the Grade 10's with some good feedback.
In the classroom we started preparing for the Student Led Conferences. The students are working hard to ensure you will get to see what they have been learning this semester. Student Led Conferences are an excellent opportunity to come into the classroom and spend time with your child and discuss their learning. The Conferences are next Friday 1st April. The times were sent home last week. If you have not received a letter with your child's time please let me know.
We also enjoyed our new carpet and classroom layout today.
